Weekend 3 of 52

So the legwamers of last week actually became the Fingerless Gloves of Length. Which look very cool, however they don't warm my legs a bit.

Much of today was spent helping a friend start scrapbooking her daughter's first scrapbook. We got the shower photos and cards done and she's ready and inspired to do more.

Some sewing for this afternoon with some laundry thrown in for good measure.

On a gardening note, I've mapped out where I want the beds and am currently trying to decide exactly what to plant.

I find myself crocheting a pair of legwarmers. I decided that I wanted to learn some new stitches and figure that the best way to learn is to do. The unfortunate part is that I find myself unraveling the yarn when I'm about 1/4 done. Sigh. It's not that I want perfection, but if I'm going thru all the trouble to make them I want them to look right (or at least the way I want them to) so ending day 4 of the first legwarmer. Currently finished with 6 rows (including the scalloped edge!)

sad side note: I could totally do these in like half an hour on my knifty knitter mitten loom but i want them crocheted...
